With the recent requirement from the State Prosecution Service under Home Department, the Odisha Public Service Commission, invites applications from competent candidates for selection of 46 numbers of Assistant Public Prosecutor in “Group-B”, in the Odisha State Prosecution Service, under Home Department.

Essential Eligibility Factors:
Minimum Educational Qualification: The interested candidates must have possessed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University. Candidates should have minimum two years of experience as practicing advocate.
Age Limit: The candidates must not have reached over 35 as on 01-Jan-2021. Age relaxations are applicable according to the rules laid down by the state government. Proof of age is to be submitted in terms of matriculation certificate or school leaving certificate.
Native Language Proficiency: The candidate should be able to speak, read and write Odia and should have had Odia as a subject in the Upper Primary (M.E) or any equivalent examination failing which he/ she shall be required to pass an examination in Odia of Upper Primary ( Middle School) standard during his/ her period of probation.

Pay Scale & Remunerations: The applicant selected for these positions will be eligible to receive Rs. 44900/- of Pay Matrix Level- 10, Cell- 01 of Pay Matrix along with other allowances.
Mode of Selection: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Career Assessment, Written Test and Viva-Voice tests. The Commission at its discretion will select the candidates for competent selection.
Written Exam: 130 Marks, 150 Minutes Duration
Viva-voce Test: 20 Marks
Application Fee: Candidates are suggested to pay Rs. 500/- through online mode. SC/ ST from the state of Odisha and PWD candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
