Educational Qualification:
For Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2800: Graduate
For Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2400: Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science Subjects
For Posts having Grade Pay Rs.2000/1900: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination
Age Criteria: The applying candidate must have obtained minimum 18 years of age and should not have exceeded 25 years of age as on 01-January-2017. There is no relaxation in upper age for any categories candidates.
Sports Eligibility:
For grade Pay Rs.1900-Rs.2000: The candidates must have represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/events OR, At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Championships/ events OR, At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/Junior National Champions OR, At least 3rd Position in National Games OR, at least 3rd Position in India Inter University Championship OR, at least 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
For grade Pay Rs.2400-Rs.2800: The candidates must have represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category A) or at least third position in any of the Category B Championship/ events.
Period of Reckoning Sports Achievement: The applicants must have achieved their Sports Criteria on or after 01-April-2014 (2 recent years).
Examination Fee:
For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes: Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination.
For All Others: Rs.500/-
The candidates can remit the fees through IPO drawn in favour of Senior Personnel Officer, RRC, N.E. Railway, payable at Gorakhpur.
Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will consist of field trials, assessment of sports achievements and general intelligence/ personality etc. The candidates who are found fit in trial will only be considered for next stage of recruitment process.

The application must be typed or computer printed on one side of a Good quality A4 size 85 GSM paper on single side only. The applicant need to fill the form in his own handwriting only. The signature and photograph must be placed appropriately. The candidates must use blue/ black ball point pen to fill up the application. The application must be filled up either in Hindi or in English.
