Municipal Corporation of Delhi is an autonomous body that governs 8 districts of Delhi. North Delhi Municipal Corporation is now establishing a medical college at Hindu Rao Hospital beginning from Academic Year 2013-14 for which it has offered various posts.
Recruitment for post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor is offered by MCD in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases, Skin & VD, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Oto – Rhino-Laryngology, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Anaesthesiology and Radio- Diagnosis.
Nature of the Post:
All the recruitments will be made based on contract for duration of two years.
Total Number of Vacancies:
There are total number of 68 vacancies out of which 32 are for Assistant Professor, 18 for Associate Professor and 18 for Professor in different streams.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational qualification required for each post is as follows:
Assistant Professor
- Basic qualification included in Indian Medical Council Act.
- Should have completed MD/ MS/ DNB from a recognised university.
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience as Senior Resident/ Tutor/ Demonstrator/ Registrar/ Lecturer.
Associate Professor
- Basic qualification included in Indian Medical Council Act.
- Should have completed MD/ MS/ DNB from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience as Senior Resident/ Tutor/ Demonstrator/ Registrar/ Lecturer.
Professor
- Basic qualification included in Indian Medical Council Act.
- Should have completed MD/ MS/ DNB from a recognised university.
- Minimum 10 years teaching experience as Senior Resident/ Tutor/ Demonstrator/ Registrar/ Lecturer.
Age Limit:
Age limit defined for each post is maximum 62 years.
Pay Scale:
Every candidate will be offered a contractual salary.
Associate Professor will get Rs. 15600 – 39100 + GP Rs. 7600 + NPA + DA
Assistant Professor will get Rs. 15600 – 39100 + GP Rs. 6600 + NPA + DA
Professor will get Rs. 37400 – 67000 + GP Rs. 8700 + NPA + DA

Eligible candidate must prepare a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- for general and Rs. 500/- for reserved category in favour of Commissioner North DMC, payable at Delhi.
