MP Electricity Regulatory Commission Special Recruitment Drive For Eligible SC, ST, PWD Candidates
Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) is the apex authority for streamlining the electricity generation, distribution and regulation of the operation of power system, to sets standards, regulate the working of licensees, etc.
With its present notification, the MPERC is inviting SC/ ST/ PWD candidates to fill up the various vacancy positions. The details of the vacancies and the detailed criteria for recruitment is detailed as under:
Important Dates:

- 1. Name of the vacancy: Deputy Director
Number of vacancy: 01
Grade of Posting: Grade-I
Pay scale: In the order of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 with a grade pay of Rs.6600. Other allowances will be available as per rules
Age Specification:
The applicant must have attained a min of 30 years and should not exceed a max age of 45 years as on 1 Jan 2013.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The applicant must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- The applicant must have 10 years of relevant experience in a large Power Utility Company/ Electricity Commission
- Highly commendable verbal and written communication efficiency
- The candidates must have been posted in an equivalent position in a central / State government organization
- Must have sound knowledge of Computer operation
- Must be familiar with Electricity Distribution and Regulation acts
- 2. Name of the vacancy: Computer Operator-cum-Stenographer
Number of vacancy: Computer Operator (01) + Stenographer (02)
Grade of Posting: Grade-III
Pay scale: In the order of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with a grade pay of Rs.1900. Other allowances will be available as per rules
Age Specification:
The applicant must have attained a min of 21 years and should not exceed a max age of 45 years as on 1 Jan 2013.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The applicant must have a 10+2 Certification
- The applicant must have acquired qualification in shorthand from an ITI/ similar institution with a speed of 80 wpm
- Must have obtained the qualification from a recognized institute as mentioned in the ad of GA department vide its notification No. 3-14/3/2010 published on 10.09.2010
- A diploma in Office management from any recognized institution under AICTE
- 3. Name of the vacancy: Driver
Number of vacancy: 02
Grade of Posting: Grade-III
Pay scale: In the order of Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 with a grade pay of Rs.1900. Other allowances will be available as per rules
Age Specification:
The applicant must have attained a min of 21 years and should not exceed a max age of 45 years as on 1 Jan 2013.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The applicant must have acquired 8th class pass qualification
- Must have a valid Driving License and at least 5 years of experience in driving a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV)
- 4. Name of the vacancy: peon/ Orderly
Number of vacancy: 03 (01 for Women)
Grade of Posting: Grade-IV
Pay scale: In the order of Rs.4440 – Rs.7440 with a grade pay of Rs.1300. Other allowances will be available as per rules
Age Specification:
The applicant must have attained a min of 18 years and should not exceed a max age of 45 years as on 1 Jan 2013.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- The applicant must have acquired 8th class pass qualification
