Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) is a newly formed company in the state of Gujarat with the implementation of Power Reform Process in the state of Gujarat. MGVCL has been formed after the decentralization of Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) into 7 (seven) sub-companies and individually charged for distribution, production and management of electricity in the state. The operational area has been defined for each of these companies and out of the seven of them MGVCL is autonomously responsible for generation, distribution and transmission of Electricity in the state of Gujarat under its jurisdiction.
With the present requirement for induction of Junior Engineers-Civil as Vidyut Sahayak in the MGVCL, this promising venture invites competent applicants to apply for the job positions through ONLINE mode only.

Name of the Positions and Number of vacancies:
Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer) Civil – At Present there is no vacancies. But it is expected to be 4-6 vacancies for the year 2013-14. The vacancies are Unreserved and there will not be any relaxation as per norms for other caste applicants
Nature of Posts:
The first two years of the post will be as Vidyut Sahayak-Civil and will be on a fixed remuneration basis. After successful completion of 2 years of service, the candidates may be inducted as Junior Engineer-Civil in the regular scale of pay subject to satisfactory performance.

Pay scale and Remunerations:
1st Year: Rs.13000 per month
2nd year: Rs.14000 per month
On successful completion of 2 years of service, the candidates may be appointed as Junior Engineer-Civil in the regular cadre in the Scale of Pay of Rs.17300-Rs.38610 and other perks as applicable.
For the first two years the candidates will get only TA/DA and Personal Insurance Coverage. No other allowances are admissible.
Essential Eligibility:
Age:
The applicant must not have crossed maximum age of 30 years of age as on 28-March-2013.
Education as on 28-March-2013:
The applicant must be a Graduate Degree holder in Engineering/ Technology (BE/BTech in Civil Engineering) with at least 60% marks as aggregate of 7th and 8th semester and must have completed the examination in the first attempt.
Knowledge of Gujarati language and Computer Operations is essential for candidates.

The selection process involves Written Test and Interview for a meritorious selection.
