CPV Division, Ministry of External Affair, invites applications from Officers under the Central Government including officers of All India Services, for recruitment of Passport Officer, Deputy Passport Officer, and Assistant Passport Officer in Passport Offices at various stations under the Central Government including officers of All India Services/ Central Secretariat Service in the Ministries/ Departments of the Government of India; on deputation basis.

Passport Officer- 02 Vacancies at Passport Office Malappuram, and Passport Office Guwahati
Deputy Passport Officer- 09 Vacancies [Two Posts each at Passport Office Chandigarh and Passport Office Pune; One Post each at Passport Office Madurai, Passport Office Malappuram, Passport Office Jammu, and Passport Office Pune ]
Assistant Passport Officer- 04 Vacancies [One post each at Passport Office Amritsar, Passport Office Dehradun, Passport Office Patna, and Passport Office Shimla]
The selected officers will be on deputation for a period of three years initially which can be curtailed or extended further, depending upon the requirement, and with the consent of the officer and approval of the lending department.
Pay Scale:
Passport Officer- Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay Rs. 7600/-
Deputy Passport Officer- Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay Rs. 6600/-
Assistant Passport Officer- Rs. 15600-39100/- + Grade pay Rs. 5400/-
Upper Age Limit: 56 years as on closing date of receipt of application, that is 15-September-2015
