KPSC Recruitment Advertisement 01/2017-18: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Posts in Water Resources Department.

Junior Engineer Civil: 246 Posts
Junior Engineer Mechanical: 43 Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Kannada Language Test, Competitive Exam, Computer based recruitment test. Selected candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer will be eligible to get pay scale of Rs. 22800-43200 and Rs. 17650-32000 for Junior Engineer post.

Educational Qualification:
Assistant Engineer (Mechanical/ civil): Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering depending upon the requirement as the case may be or must be holder of a Diploma Certificate from a recognised Institute of Engineers regarding pass in Parts-A & B of the A.M.I.E. or possess equivalent qualification.
Junior Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical): Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering depending upon requirement as the case may be from a recognised Polytechnic in Karnataka or possess equivalent qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years for Junior Engineer; and Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years for Assistant Engineer Posts.
Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.300/- for General Merit, Rs.150/- for 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Category through e-Payment Post Offices Only. SC, ST & Category-1, PH and Ex-MP candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
