The Urban Development & Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Junior Engineer Posts in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical disciplines on contractual basis for a period of three years.

Junior Engineer (Civil)- 93 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering from Government Polytechnic Institute of Jharkhand.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)- 23 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Institute of Jharkhand.
Junior Engineer (Mechanical)- 25 Vacancies
Candidates must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Institute of Jharkhand.
Remuneration: Rs. 28,755/- per month
Job Profile: The selected personnel would assist the Urban Development & Housing Department/ Chief Executive Officer/ Executive Officer/ Special Officer of Municipal Corporation/ Nagar Parishad/ Municipalitiy/ Nagar Panchayat/Notified Area Committee in carrying out various functions and also comply with instructions issued by Urban Development & Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand.
