With the recent announcement, the Indian Army is inviting candidature for direct recruitment through a Rally at Kabardha Stadium of Kabridham district of Chhattisgarh. The rally will be conducted from 11-April to 17-April-2013 at the stadium and the details of the recruitment procedure are as follows:

Details of the Posts & Vacancies:
Posts to be filled up:
a) Soldier in General Duty
b) Soldiers as Clerk/ Store Keeper
c) Soldiers as Nursing Assistant
d) Soldiers in Technical Duty (Dresser, Technical Tradesman)
Education Qualification:
a) Soldier in General Duty: Minimum 10th standard pass with 45% marks and 32% in each subject. Candidates having 10+2 need not fulfill the criteria of percentage of marks
b) Soldiers as Clerk/ Store Keeper: 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks and at least 40% in each subject including English. For candidates having Graduation with Maths and English the percentage of marks will not be accounted for
c) Soldiers in Technical Duty: 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
d) Soldiers as Nursing Assistant: 10+2 pass with 50% marks or with BSc Degree holder
e) Soldier Tradesman (8th Standard): Must have cleared 8th standard of School education
f) Soldier Tradesman (10th Standard): Must have cleared 10th standard (Matriculation) of School education
Note: For NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate holders there will be additional award of marks to be included in final selection
Age Specification:
- Soldiers in General Duty: A candidate must be aged between 17to 21 years.
- Soldiers in Technical Duty: A candidate must be aged between 17to 21 years
- Soldier Clerk, Storekeeper, Nursing Assistant: A candidate must be aged between 17to 23 years
Physical Standards:
- Height: 162 -167 cm
- Weight: 48-50 kg
- Chest: 76/77 Cm without expansion and 81/82 cm with expansion
- As per standard Norms (Refer to Official Advertisement mentioned below)
Character Certificate:
All candidates have to produce a Character Certificate issues by IIC of their concerned Police Station/ School HM/ Sarpanch/ MLA or Member of Zilla Parisad and the certificate should be issued after 29-May-2012
Declaration Format:
The candidates have to complete a declaration format as available at the above website on a Rs.10 stamp paper.
Nativity:
The candidates need to be domicile of the Chhattisgarh state in order to apply
Pay Provisions:
The applicants gets selected as Soldiers will be receiving a monthly remuneration in the range of Rs.5700 (during training) and Rs.13000 (after becoming soldiers) along with other facilities as extended by Indian Army
Mode of Selection:
The selection of candidates will be done at Rally abiding the following procedure:
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Endurance Test
- Personal Interview
- Final Medical Examination
Documents required for Rally:
- Unattested Photographs
- Certificates of all education with original and two sets of photocopies
- Domicile Certificate
- Other certificates claiming relaxation or advantage of marks.
