Indian Air Force conducting Recruitment Rally for Group Y Trades (Non Technical) for unmarried Male citizens from Dinajpur (North), Dinajpur (South), Coochbehar Purulia, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Malda, Medinipore (East), and Medinipor (West) districts of the state of West Bengal; and State of Sikkim for the post of Airmen.
Selected candidates will be enrolled for initial period of 20 years that is extendable up to the age of 57 years. Selected candidates will have to undergo 24 weeks of Joint Basic Phase Training at Airman Training School, Belgaum, initially. On successful JBPT, candidates will be allocated trades and undergo trade training for specified periods. Finally, candidates will be deployed as Airman on ground based jobs as per allocated trades.

Age Limit: Candidates should be born between February 01, 1994 and May 31, 1997, both dates inclusive.
Stipend (During Training): Rs. 8,550/- pm
Pay Scale: Rs. 19,000/- pm to Rs.35000/- pm
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 12th with science, Arts or Commerce subject or equivalent vocational courses or three years Diploma in any stream with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on basis of Verification of documents, Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT), followed by Interview.

Eligible candidates may appear for Recruitment Rally with required writing materials and documents as HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen for writing, seven copies of recent passport-size colour photograph, two unstamped self addressed 24×10 cm white envelopes; and all educational certificates, marks sheets and Domicile Certificate as well as NCC certificates (if applicable), in form of originals and three photo state copies; at the Rally venue within reporting time.
