Eligiblity Criteria:
Professor- Candidate must possess Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout.
Candidate must possess minimum 10 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which minimum 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.
Associate Professor- Candidate must possess Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout.
Candidate must possess minimum 6 years teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which minimum 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Assistant Professor- Candidate must possess Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout.
Candidate must possess three years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience (excluding the period of doing Ph.D.). A fresh Ph.D. may be considered for the position on a contract basis.
Pay Scale:
Professor: PB-4, Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs. 10,500/-
Associate Professor: PB-4, Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs. 9,500/-
Assistant Professor: PB-3, Rs.15,600-39,100/- with AGP of Rs. 8,000/-
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on the Interview.
