What is IBSAT?
The IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Admission Test) is a compulsory entrance examination for admission to the two years full time course in MBA program offered by the ICFAI University. The score of the IBSAT is accepted by many management institutes but it is the basic criteria for securing admission into the IBS institute.

The procedure for application:
IBSAT exam is of two hours duration and consists of multiple choice questions. The test in held in the month of December and the forms can be filled online as well as offline. The results of the exam are announced online in the month of January.
The question paper:
The question paper is divided into a total of six sections. It tests the skills of the students such as Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation, Quantitative Techniques, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Analytical Reasoning. After giving this written test, the students have to write an essay of about 400 words on a given topic. The time given for writing the essay is half an hour and the choice has to be made from a total of five topics. When the student passes the written examination, then he is called for the Group discussion and the personal interview. The final score is the total of the marks secured in the written examination and GD & PI performance.
The minimum basic level of education:
All the students who aspire to sit in this exam need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for it. The students must have completed Bachelors Degree with a minimum of fifty per cent marks from any recognized university. The students who are appearing for the final year exam are also eligible to apply.
