Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board HPSSB Recruitment 2013 For Multiple Positions

Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (HPSSSB) is one of the most vital nodal agencies for recruitments into subordinate services under the state government of Himachal Pradesh. The HPSSSB is inviting Applications in prescribed format from desirous and eligible candidates for various posts under the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The last date for filling up application is 20-June-2013. However the applicants from hilly and far-flung areas can send their application till 05-July-2013.

All applications has to be submitted through the prescribed application form only, which is available at the counters of various Post Offices/ Sub-Post Offices throughout the state.

The eligibility criteria and mode of application are as follows:

1. Post Code – 352 – Inspector Weights & Measures (on contract basis)  – 05 Posts (UR-4, OBC-1) – Education – Graduate in Science with Physics as one of the subject(s), BTech or BE or hold a recognized Diploma in Engineering – Pay Scale – Rs.13900 per month (for contractual posts only)
2. Post Code – 353 – Maintenance Supervisor (on contract basis) – 01 Post (UR) – Education – Should have passed Matriculation with Physics & Chemistry and Must possess three years experience as technician. Or, should have a Diploma in Engineering – Pay Scale – Rs.8710 per month (for contractual posts only)

Must have typing speed of 40wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer. NOTE:

1. All candidates must have knowledge of customs/ manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh (Preferred)

Age:

A candidate must not have crossed 45 years of age and should be over 18 years as on 01-January-2013 to be eligible to apply. However upper age limit is relaxable for candidates of Himachal Pradesh as per the norms of the state.

Application Fee:

• The application fee is already included in the cost of application form
• Application forms are available in all the post offices/sub post offices of Himachal Pradesh.
• For General: Rs.320
• For reserved category: Rs.110

Mode of Selection:

• Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/her performance in the Written Examination, Viva-voice, & Skill Test on merit basis
• The eligibility of candidate(s) called for the interview will be determined on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination only.
• The candidates have to produce their original documents on the day of interview.
