UPSC, SSC, RRB, Government Job Exam Scores to be Posted Online at NCS.GOV.IN | Recruitment Agencies To Use NCS Portal For Disclosures of Scores & Rankings of Candidates, To Public online scores of recruitment exams to facilitate employment
Examination Scores and Ranking of Various Competitive Exams conducted by Recruitment Agencies as Union Public Service Commission UPSC, Staff Selection Commission SSC, Railway Recruitment Boards RRBs, and other recruiting bodies to be Public at NCS Portal to facilitate employment.
Earlier, Government of India has approved the proposal of NITI Aayog for making available publicly scores and ranking of candidates in recruitment examinations through dedicated portal for increasing access of the unemployed to job opportunities.
Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) , Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India, has come out with Office Memorandum that the score and ranking of various competitive recruitment examination of all the recruitment agencies viz. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and other recruiting bodies to use National Career Service (NCS) portal of Ministry of Labour and Employment for disclosure of scores and rankings of the candidates.
Apart from UPSC, SSC and RRB, the office memorandum from DoPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions dated July 19, 2017 has also been sent to All Para Military Forces (CISF CRPF, BSF, ITPB, SSB, Assam Rifles), CBDT, CBEC, All Public Sector Banks , NABARD, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Indian Army/ Services Selection Board, Indian Air Force/ Armed Forces Selection Board, Indian Navy, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), National Highways Authority of India, National Airport Authority of India, National Human Rights Commission and all Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).
All the Public Recruitment Agencies will therefore link their respective web pages to NCS Portal for disclosure of scores/ rankings of all the candidates appearing in the final stage of each recruitment process being conducted by them.
The move had come after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had in March last year said that the scores of candidates taking competitive examinations will be shared with prospective employers to help them choose quality talent. The initiative is aimed at the government’s effort to boost hiring by the private sector. The publicly available scores will act as a useful database to other employers to enable them to identify good and employable candidates.
There will be a single platform for all recruitment exam scores and rankings. Candidates are suggested to register at NCS Portal as earliest.
