Goa Public Service Commission is inviting applications for various positions under the state government of Goa. The applications are only available with a certified vendor and all interested applicants can purchase the application form from the certified vendor Casa J.D. Fernandes Stationery Supplier, Printers & Book Binders, placed opposite Municipal Garden, Panaji. The Commission will not supply application forms by Post, but it allows the candidates to download the format available at the website of Goa PSC to use them while applying for the positions.

I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE
- Surgery – 3 Posts & Radiology – 1 post
Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have a Post-graduate degree in the speciality concerned – Experience – At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable – Age- Max 45 years – Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 (PB-3) + Rs.6600 (Grade pay)
- Assistant Lecturer in Urology – 1 post
Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable – Age- Max 42 years – Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 (PB-3) + Rs.5400 (Grade pay)
II. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES
- Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon –2 Posts
Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have a Post-graduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma in the speciality concerned – Experience – Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable – Age- Max 42 years – Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 (PB-3) + Rs.6600 (Grade pay)
- Senior Psychiatrist – 1 Post
Educational – A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The applicant should have a Post-graduate degree in the speciality concerned – Experience – Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree. III. DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION
- Assistant Professor in Commerce –1 Post (ST)
Educational – Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in Commerce AND a compulsory pass in National Eligibility Test (NET)/ State Level Eligibility Test (SET) (Ph.D. degree holders will be exempted from this clause). Ph.D. or M.Phil in the relevant subject is desirable. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable – Age- Max 42 years – Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 (PB-3) + Rs.6000 (Grade pay)
IV. DIRECTORATE OF ARCHIVES & ARCHAEOLOGY
- Archivist (Management) –1 Post
Educational – Master’s degree in Indian History/Political Science of a recognized university or equivalent And Degree in Portuguese or Curso Complementar in Art/Science from Lyceum of Degree of a recognized university – Experience – 3 years experience in research/ teaching in Modern Indian History/work in an Archival Office. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable. Knowledge of Archival Science along with knowledge of Portuguese Palaeography, Typography and Proof Reading. And Knowledge of Marathi (Modi script) is desirable – Age- Max 42 years – Pay Scale – Rs.9300-Rs.34800 (PB-2) + Rs.4600 (Grade pay)
V. GOA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY
- Professors – 3 Posts (One each for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Pharmacology)
Educational – Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline – Experience – Minimum of 10 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor OR Minimum of 13 years experience in Teaching and / or Research and / or Industry. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is desirable – Age- Max 50 years – Pay Scale – Rs.37400-Rs.67000 + Rs.10000 (Grade pay)
- Associate Professors – 4 Posts (One each for Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
Educational – Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree and Ph.D. or equivalent in appropriate discipline – Experience – Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching / Research / Industry of which 2 years post Ph.D. experience is desirable. Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable. Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is desirable – Age- Max 50 years – Pay Scale – Rs.37400-Rs.67000 + Rs.9000 (Grade pay)
- Assistant Professors – 6 Posts (One each for Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology & 3 posts for Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
Educational – Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree – Knowledge of Konkani is essential and Marathi is desirable – Age- Max 42 years – Pay Scale – Rs.15600-Rs.39100 + Rs.6000 (Grade pay)
NOTE: There will be relaxation for upper age as per rules.

Selection Note:
- In case of there is non-availability of persons knowledgeable in Konkani, the commission may relax the norms
- The selection will empanel the competent candidates which will remain valid for a period of 1 year from the date of selection
