Gauhati High Court Advertisement for Direct recruitment to the newly created Posts of LDA and Copyist; for the District Courts of Assam in the scale of pay Rs. 14000 – 60500/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/- and other allowances as admissible.

LDA, Copyist- 237 Vacancies in the district judiciary of Assam [in Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup Metropolitan, Kamrup, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, Tinsukia, and Udalguri districts]

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of common written examination of two hours duration of 120 marks.

Syllabus: General English (50 marks), General Knowledge including Computer Knowledge (30 marks) and General Aptitude (20 marks)

Official language of the state of Assam (Assamese): 20 mark (which will be qualifying in nature, qualifying marks shall be 40% of 20 that is 8 marks).

711 Candidates will be called to the viva-voce (15 marks).  On the basis of the grand total marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Test and viva-voce, the final selection will be made district wise.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 31 October 2021
Last Date for Payment of Fee: 03 November 2021

Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University. Candidates must possess a certificate of Computer knowledge of minimum three months duration. Candidates should have adequate knowledge of official language of Assam State (Assamese).

The candidate must possess Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on last date for receipt of application. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.

Application Fee: Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST candidates, and Rs. 300/-  for All other candidates through Payment Challan Form at any branches of State Bank of India.
