Incorporated on 31^st July 1963, Durgapur Chemicals Ltd. (DCL) is a public sector company wholly owned by the Government of West Bengal. The DCL has been formed as part of an initiative to develop Durgapur as an industrial hub of West Bengal. DCL started commercial production of Phenol, Phthalic Anhydride, Monochloro Benzene, Pentachloro Phenol, Caustic Soda, Chlorine and Hydrochloric Acid sicne the year 1968. At present The Company is continuing its operation only with the production of Caustic Soda, Monochloro Benzene, Di-Chloro Benzene, Sodium Pentachloro Phenate.

DCL has its own township with more than 400 residential accommodations to all categories of employees spread in the area of 50 acres land & Factory area of 70 acres. The company set up value added product Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP) of 9000 MT / Annum capacity and Hydrogen Bottling plant in the year 1999.

With the recent initiative of the DCL it invites competent candidature for filling up various positions at its plant at Durgapur.

2. Dy. Plan of Examination:

The Selection will be done through a round of personal Interview and written exam (if required). The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates on a merit ranking basis.
