Directorate of Sericulture, Government of Assam, invites applications from eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment of Sericulture Demonstrator Posts.
Sericulture Demonstrator – 30 Vacancies (Unreserved- 15 Posts, OBC/ MOBC- 08 Posts, STP- 03 Posts, STH- 02 Posts, SC- 02 Posts)
Pay Scale: Pay Band-2, Rs. 14000-49000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6200/- plus other allowances

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC Examination. Candidates should have one year Certificate Training Course from Sericulture Training Institute, Titabar, Jorhat upto 1996-97 Batch.
HSSLC (Science) Examination Passed or equivalent. Candidates should have one year Certificate Training Course from Sericulture Training Institute, Titabor Jorhat from 1997-98 onwards Batch.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should not be more than 43 years as on 01-January-2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee: Rs 150 for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates; Rs 250/- for General candidates. Candidates having BPL certificate are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the fee through treasury challan to the Head of Account “0070-Other Administrative Sevices- 60-Other Services-800-Other Receipts.
How to Apply: Interested candiadtes are suggetsed to submit duly completed application form in prescribed format along with self-attested photocopy of all testimonials from HSLC onwards with two copies of passport size photograph; manually to the Office of the Directorate of Sericulture, Assam, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Applicants are suggested to receive the acknowledgement receipt from this office for further references.
