The Assam Home Guards and the Assam Civil Defence organisations, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of constables in ASRF Battalion-I and ASRF Battalion-II of Assam Home Guards Organization.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or Equivalent Examination from recognised Board/ University recognized by the Government. Candidates should have Home Guards Training/ NCC “A” certificate.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-August-2015.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/-, Grade Pay Rs. 2200/- per month plus other allowances as admissible

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Written Examination. A list of eligible candidates for appearing in Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be published through Notice Board as well as Official Website. Individual call letter (Admit Card) bearing Roll Number, date and venue of test will be issued by post for appearing in the mentioned Test.

After completion of PET candidates will be called for written test provided he/ she has to successfully qualify in all the PET events. Written Test will consist of multiple choice type questions.
The final result of candidates would be based on the Marks awarded in PET (Out of 60 marks), Multiple choice objective type written test (Out of 25 marks), Marks for having special skill in trade craft (Out of 05 marks), Marks awarded to extra-curricular activities and special skill (Out of 05 marks), and Weight age for marks obtained in HSLC examination by the candidate (Out of 05 marks).
