Qualification As on 19-February-2016:
Assistant Manager (Signal and Telecommunication/ Electrical/ HR/ Optg.)- Candidates must possess Degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have minimum three years experience in Electronics and Communication engineering works.
Executive (Civil/ Electrical/ Signal and Telecommunication/ Station Master and Controller)- Candidates must possess three years diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Junior Executive (Civil (Artisan)/ Electrical)- Candidates must have passed Matriculation with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates must also have completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by SCVT/ NCVT in the relevant trade with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Multi Tasking Staff (Civil/ Track man/ Operating/ Electrical/ S&T)- Candidates must possess ITI or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
Age limit As on 01-January-2016:
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years for Assistant Manager, Executive, and Junior Executive Position
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 33 years for Multi Tasking Staff Position
However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 24900-50500(IDA) (E-3) for Assistant Manager Posts
Rs. 12600-32500 (IDA) (E-0) for Executive Posts
Rs. 10000-25000 (IDA)(N-5) for Junior Executives (Skilled Staff/Technicians) Posts
Rs. 6000-12000 (IDA) (N-1) for Multi Tasking Staff Posts
Selection Process:
Executive (Civil/ Electrical/ Signal and Telecommunication/ Station Master and Controller), and Junior Executive (Civil (Artisan)/ Electrical)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test.
Multi Tasking Staff (Civil/ Track man/ Operating/ Electrical/ S&T)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test.
Assistant Manager (Signal and Telecommunication/ Electrical/ HR/ Optg.)- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test, followed by Interview.
Note: Computer Based Test may be held at Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Bhopal. There shall be negative marking.

Rs.500/- for Multi Tasking Staff Positions
Rs. 700/- for Junior Executive Positions
Rs. 900/- for Executive Positions
Rs. 1000/- for Assistant Manager Positions
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in form of System Generated Challan at any branch of State Bank of India. SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

The step by step process for submitting the application form as follows
Step-I: In step one of online application, candidates has to make Registration of Personal Details, Qualification Details, Declaration, and Challan download. After completion of step one, the Login Id and password will be sent to candidates’s registered e-Mail Id.
Candidates has to make the payment of Application Fee in any branch of the State Bank of India after 24 hours of Generation of Challan in case applicable.
Step- II: In step two of online application, Candidates has to Login after 24 hours from the time the payment of application fee in the Bank, and Complete the application form.
