Delhi Public Library, an autonomous body under ministry of culture, government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment of Hindi Translator-cum-Assistant, Library and Information Assistant, and Wireman on Direct Recruitment Basis.
Hindi Translator-cum-Assistant: 01 Vacancy, Grade B (Non-Gazetted) in PB-II (Rs. 9300-34800/- plus GP 4200/-
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR
Candidates must possess Master’s Degree of a a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level. OR
Candidates must possess Masters degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level. OR
Candidates must possess Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
Library and Information Assistant: 01 Vacancy, in PB-II (Rs.9300-34800/- plus GP 4200/-
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recogniseed university.Candidates should have twoo years professional experience in Library.
Wireman: 01 Vacancy, in PB-I (Rs.5200-20200/- plus GP 1900/-
Candidates must have passed Matriculation from a recognised board. Candidates should have trade certificate in electrical wiring or repairing/ maintenance of electrical lines from an ITI or reocgnised institute.
Last Date for receipt of Applications:
22-January-2018 for Library and Information Assistant, and Wireman Posts
04-February-2018 for Hindi Translator-cum-Assistant Post
Upper Age Limit: 30 years for Hindi Translator-cum-Assistant, and Library and Information Assistant Posts; and 25 years for Wireman Post. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Application Fee:
Rs. 300/- (Rs. 200/- for Wireman) for Unreserved/OBC category and Rs. 150/- (Rs. 100/- for Wireman) for SC/ST candidates
Candidates are suggested to pay the fee in form of Postal Order or Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of Secretary, Delhi Library Board.
