Collieries Division, Steel Authority of India Limited, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Mining Sirdar, Overman, Surveyor Positions for its collieries Divisions (Chasnalla, Jitpur, & Tasra). The mode of selection shall be the through Written Test and Skill Test / Trade Test.
Mining Sirdar: 52 vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 15830 – 22150/-
Candidates must have passed Matriculation from a Government recognised Institute with valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS. Candidates should have minimum one year post qualification experience.
Overman: 19 vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 16800 – 24110/-
Candidates must have passed Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in Mining Engineering from a Government recognized Institute with minimum 50% marks. Candidates should have minimum one year post qualification experience.
Surveyor: 01 vacancy, in the scale of pay Rs. 16800 – 24110/-
Candidates must have passed Matriculation and 3 years full time Diploma in Mining & Mine’s Survey from a Government recognized Institute with minimum 50% marks. Candidates should have minimum one year post qualification experience.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 10-March-2019
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 10-March-2019. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Applciation Fee:
Rs. 150/- for Mining Sirdar Position
Rs. 250/- for Overman, Surveyor Positions
Candidates are suggested to pay the applciation fee through Net Banking or Credit / Debit Card or System generated Challan Form. SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of applciation fee.
