Public service commission of Chattisgarh has announced vacancies for post of veterinary assistant surgeon through advertisement number 01/12 dated 21-12-2012. The Chattisgarh public service commission is inviting application from Indian citizens to fill 186 vacancies for the post of veterinary assistant surgeon in the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
Recruitment Details:
Public service commission of Chhattisgarh required veterinary assistant surgeon to fill up vacancies in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service department. Candidates willing to apply for above post need to serve 2 years on probation on a pay scale of 15600-39100 + grade pay 5400/ along with other allowances. The position will be of Gazetted officer Grade II. There are 186 posts having 49 for unreserved, 45 for SC candidates, 62 for ST candidates and 30 for OBC. There is some more reservation as per government rules and norm for female candidates, handicapped and others. However, number of posts may be increased or decreased.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates applying for this post should have minimum age of 21 Years and Maximum 30 Years as on 1-1-2013. However, 5 years relaxation in upper age limit will be given to candidates of Chattisgarh origin.
Educational Qualification: A candidate applying for post of veterinary assistant surgeon need to have a Veterinary science degree from any recognized university.
Recruitment Procedure:
All candidates who will found eligible on basis of age limit and qualification will be called for interviews. However, if number of candidates applied for post will exceed by required posts, a written exam will be conducted and interview will be taken for final recruitment. It will be only decided after last date of application submission. If written exam will be required, candidates will be informed about date and pattern of examination to be conducted by Chttisgarh public service commission.

Steps to fill online application:
1- Log on to website //psc.cg.gov.in.
2- Click on link Online Application
3- Click on link “VETERINARY ASSISTANT SURGEON-2012”. This link will open another link to apply online.
4- Fill the online form and upload photo in required format along with signature.
5- After filling required details step by step, candidates need to provide their mobile number and a valid email address for further correspondence. On this step, candidates can take printout of submitted form.
6- After submitting application, candidates need to pay fees amount using online banking, debit card or credit card.
Online application can be submitted from 24-12-2012 to 22-01-2013 till mid night 12:00. Any mistake can be rectified only within 10 days from last date of application submission. A service fess of Rs. 30 will be payable by candidates for seeking any rectification in their application within 10 days till 01-02-2012. No any documents are required to submit along with application.
