Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for DIRECT recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, and Head of Department HOD under Technical Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Written Test and Interview. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.
Head of Department HOD: 25 Posts, in Polytechnic Institutes, in Information Technology, Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Computer Science, and Metallurgy Disciplines
Professor: 02 Posts, in Engineering Colleges, in Information Technology and Mining Disciplines
Associate Professor: 14 Posts, in Engineering Colleges, in Information Technology, Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Disciplines
Important Dates:
Opening Date for Online Submission of Application: 15-February-2019
Closing Date for Online Submission of Application: 16-March-2019
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess B.E./ B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech. in relevant field. Candidates must have fulfill required educational qualification and experiences in order to be eligible for consideration for said post. Applicants are strongly suggested to verify that he/ she fulfill minimum eligibility criteria before applying for the same.
Upper Age Limit: Maximum 50 years Associate Professor; and 58 years for Professor, and Head of Department HOD Posts as on January 01, 2019. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per Chhattisgarh government rules.
Application Fees:
For the candidates belonging Unreserved and OBC categories (from Chhattisgarh & from other states): Rs. 400/-
For all others reserved categories (SC/ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen from Chhattisgarh): Rs. 300/-
These fees can be paid online through Debit card/ Credit card during filling online applications.
The fee concession will be applicable for reserved categories of Chhattisgarh State only.
