Opening Date for Submission of Online Applications: 07-August-2018
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications/ Deposit of Application Fee: 14-September-2018
Date of Written Examination: 21-October-2018 [Paper 1- 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM; Paper 2- 11.30 AM to 01.30 PM]
TOP 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in Paper I and Paper II both and secure at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for candidates belonging to General Category and at least 35% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz. SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non Creamy Layer) and PWD and Transgender will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor.
The CG Vyapam has been entrusted to conduct SET for eligibility for Lectureship in colleges in Chhattisgarh. Candidates who qualify the CGSET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lecturers (Assistant Professors) of the concerned Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions (Government/ Aided/ Private) in Chhattisgarh State.
CG Vyapam as the State Agency for Chhattisgarh to conduct the State Eligibility Test (SET) for 19 subjects for the year 2018-19.

Who Can Apply: Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) in Post-Graduation/ Masters Degree courses without rounding off. Candidates who have completed or are pursuing the final year of PG Degree in related subjects. Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results in Masters Degree courses provided they could be able to submit their Master’s Degree Completion Certificate within 1 year from the date of publication of CGSET results. Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s level examination has been completed. Candidates shall appear to the CGSET in the subject of their post-graduation only.
Age Limit: No upper age limit
How to Apply: The candidates who fulfill the eligibility Criteria are required to apply ONLINE through the website of the CG Vyapam at www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in

Before applying online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification. After completion of Online Application, the candidates need to take hardcopies of the Online Application keep that for future reference. The candidates are advised to read through the complete application bulletin and then fill up the application form. It is compulsory for the candidate to appear in all papers. The candidate who does not appear in any paper will not be permitted to appear in the next paper.
