Assam SLET 2023 Notification –

Assam State Eligibility Test (SET) 2023 for 25 subjects to be conducted by the State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam (N.E. Region) on 19th March, 2023 (Sunday) in all the University Centres of N.E States.
Its member States are Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura.
The qualified candidates in the SET will be governed by the rules and regulations of recruitment of Asst. Professors of the Universities and Colleges.
Assam SLET 2023 Important Dates
Opening Date for Submission of Online Application: 15-November-2022
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 07-January-2023
Last Date for Deposit of Fee: 13-January-2023
Assam SLET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates possess Master Degree or equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for reserved category candidates) from universities/ institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this test.
Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the final qualifying Master degree examination and result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examination have been delayed may also apply for this Test. Such candidates must obtain Master Degree within two years from the date of concerned SLET result.
The Ph.D. degree holders whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 shall be eligible for relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks. (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
There is no upper age limit for eligibility for applying for Assistant Professors.

Assam SLET 2023 Exam Pattern
will consist of two papers. Paper 1 of 100 Marks and Paper 2 of 200 Marks. There will be no negative marking.
Paper I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper II shall be based on the subject.
The Answer Key of Paper I and II will be available in the SLET Commission’s website after 7 working days of the Test.
The candidates who get the qualifying marks can get their marks in the SLET Commission’s website after 7 working days from the date of declaration of result.
Assam SLET 2023- How to Apply: Interested candidates are suggested to apply online through official website of SLET Commission at www.sletneonline.co.in, sletne.org
System will generate a unique Application ID. The applicants are suggested to note down the unique Application ID for all future references including Admit Card Download. Applicants are also suggested to print the Acknowledgement Slip for future reference.
