The Assam Public Works Department, Government of Assam, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 463 Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Positions. The appointment will be purely on ad‐hoc basis for a period of four months and to become eligible for regular appointment a candidate must qualify himself in the regular recruitment test as and when held.
Assistant Engineer- 156 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 30000 – 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 12700/-
Candidates must possess B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline from a recognized University.
Junior Engineer- 307 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 14000 – 49000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-
Candidates must possess Diploma in relevant Engineering Discipline from a recognized Institute.
