Osmania University invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors/ Lecturers through State Eligibility Test 2014 for Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh States.
Candidates will have to appear for SET-TS & AP in the subject of their Post-Graduation only.
Candidates who qualify in the test are eligible to apply for the post of Asst. Professors/ Lecturers in various universities and degree colleges of higher education in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States.

Date of State Eligibility Test for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States (SET-TS & AP): January 04, 2015 (9.30 AM to 4.00 PM)
- Opening Date for Submission of Online Applications: 10-October-2014
- Closing Date for Submission of Online Applications: 31-October-2014
- Closing Date for Submission of Online Applications with late fee of Rs. 100: 01-November-2014 to 08-November-2014
- Closing Date for Submission of Online Applications with late fee of Rs. 200: 08-November-2014 to 15-November-2014
- Last Date for Submission of Printed Online Application: 18-November-2014
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in related subjects from a UGC recognized university with minimum 55% marks for General/ BC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH category candidates.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Post-Graduate examination may also appear in State Eligibility Test for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States.
Registration Fee:
For BC category candidates: Rs. 500/-
For SC/ ST/ PH/ VH category candidates: Rs. 200/-
For General (OC) candidates: Rs. 700/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the registration fee through bank challan only. Applicants are suggested to take the printout of the prescribed bank challan from the SET-TS & AP website. Applicants are further suggested to enclose the SET-TS & AP copy of challan with the printed filled in online application form, after the payment of fee to the bank.
