APSC Recruitment Advertisement 3-2018: Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Junior Information & Public Relation Officer under Information and Public Relation Department, Government of Assam.
Junior Information & Public Relation Officer: 05 Vacancies, in the scale of pay Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-
Last Date for receipt of Applications: 31-March-2018
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess bachelor’s degree of any recognized University in Arts, Science or Commerce.
Candidates must also possess degree/ diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an Institute recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), or Having minimum three years experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity public relations organizations/ Government Public Relations Department.
Candidates should have Knowledge of Computer Application, Good command over English, and Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state.
Age Limit: The applicants must have attained 21 years of age and should not have crossed 43 years as on 01-Jan-2018. However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST and other privileged candidates.
Application Fees:
Rs 150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC candidates
Rs. 250/- for All other candidates
The application fee can only be paid in form of Government Treasury Challan in Head of Account “NON TAX REVENUE-OTHER NON TAX REVENUE-0051-PSC, 102-STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICATION/ EXAMINATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC”.
Mode of Selection: Depending upon the availability of candidature the Commission may conduct a Written Examination and followed by Interview or may short-list candidates depending upon their academic marks and call them for an Interview for selection of candidates for these posts.
