Assam Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of Agricultural Development Officer, Assistant Engineer, and Research Assistant Positions.
115 Vacancies of Agricultural Development Officer under Agriculture Department
Candidates must possess B.Sc. (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Government of Assam.
33 Vacancies of Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) under Public Health Engineering Department
Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering from an university recognized by the Government i.e recognized by A.I.C.T.E. OR
Passed part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) recognized by Government i.e. recognized by A.I.C.T.E
09 Vacancies of Research Assistant in the Directorate of Town & Country Planning, Assam under Urban Development Department
Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with Economics/ Geography/ Sociology/ Statistics/ Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2018. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per rules.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 30,000/- 110000/- (PB-4) with Grade pay of Rs. 12700/- plus other allowances for Agricultural Development Officer, and Assistant Engineer
PB-Rs. 22,000/- 87,000/-p.m with Grade pay of Rs. 9,100/- plus other allowances for Research Assistant
Application Fee:
Rs.150/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC category candidates
Rs. 250/- for General Candidate
Candidates having BPL Certificate are exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates are suggested to pay the fee through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC” showing name of post and department.

The application completed in all respect and attached with necessary certificates, fee payment Treasury Challan should be signed and attached with recent passport size photograph and should be submitted to the APSC at the concerned address so as to reach by the last date specified (i.e. 08-February-2019)
