Educational Qualification-
Agricultural Development Officer- Candidates must possess B.Sc. (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Government of Assam.
Junior Engineer (Agriculture)- Candidates must possess three years engineering Diploma in Agriculture Engineering, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from any recognized Institutions.
Age Limit: Minimum Age limit is 21 years (18 years for Junior Engineer) and the maximum is 43 years as on January 01, 2017. However, relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category is applicable as per government rules.
Pay Scale-
Agricultural Development Officer: Pay Band-4, Rs 30,000-1,10,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.12700/-
Junior Engineer (Agriculture): Pay Band-2, Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the qualifying academic examination required for the post; OR by holding Screening test/ Viva-voce interview.
