Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites online mode of application from eligible candidates for West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service (Special Recruitment) Exam 2013 for various posts in West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service.
Important Dates:
- Commencement of submission of online application: December 24, 2013 from 11:30 AM
- Last Date for submission of fees: January 20, 2014
- Closing Date for submission of online application: January 24, 2014
- Expected Date of Exam: During March, 2014
Total Number of Vacancies:
175 (Unreserved – 90, SC – 38, ST – 10, BC (Category-A) – 17, BC (Category-B) – 12, and PH – 08)
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01 January, 2013
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- to 42,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or must be member of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India or member of the Institute of Costs Accountants of India with Knowledge in computer operation.
Selection Procedure:
- Phase – I : Written examination
- Phase-II: Personal Interview
- Pre-recruitment Medical Examination
Applicants will be selected on the basis of performance in multiple choice objective types written exam, followed by medical examination and Personality Test.
Exam Centers: Kolkata, Siliguri
Examination Fee: Rs. 210/-
Candidates are suggested to pay the examination fee in form of payment challan at the CBS branches of the State Bank of India.
SC/ ST candidates of West Bengal and PWD candidates having physical disability of 40% and above are exempted from paying the examination fee.
