Technician Apprentice: 60 Vacancies (30 Positions for Graduate in Engineering, and 30 Positions for Diploma in Engineering)
Disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation/ Electronics
Training Period: 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.

Qualification:
Technician Apprentice Graduate in Engineering: Candidates must possess Graduate Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation from any institute recognized by the AICTE.
Technician Apprentice Diploma in Engineering: Candidates must possess three years full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from any institute recognized by the AICTE. Candidates having passed the Diploma in Engineering in the year 2014, 2015, 2016 are only eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years (25 years in case of Technician Apprentice – Graduate in Engineering) as on 01-February-2018.
Stipend:
Rs. 3,542/- per month for Technician Apprentice – Diploma Engineer
Rs. 4,984.00/- per month for Technician Apprentice – Graduate Engineer
Selection Process: Shortlisted Candidates on the basis of percentage of marks achieved in Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, will be called for Personal Interview.
The Venue of the Personal Interview (PI) shall be at the Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region), Block-EA, Sector-1, Salt Lake City (Opp. Labony Estate), Kolkata, 700064
