Minimum Qualification Required: Candidates must have fulfill minimum eligibility criteria for consideration of appointment. Applicants are strongly suggested to verify that he/ she fulfill minimum eligibility norms before applying.
Age Limit As on December 15, 2016
Principal/ Professor: Maximum age limit is 50 years.
Associate Professor: Maximum age limit is 45 years.
Assistant Professor/ Assistant Director (Rubber Production): Maximum age limit is 40 years.
However, relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Tripura Government rules.
Pay Scale-
Principal: Rs. 37,400-67,000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- per month
Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,400/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- per month
Associate Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,400/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,000/- per month
Assistant Professor: Rs. 15,600-39,100/- Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- per month
Assistant Director (Rubber Production): Rs. 10,230-34,800/-, PB-3, with Grade Pay of Rs.4,800/-
Mode of Selection: The candidate will be selected based on the Screening Test/ Personality Test.

Rs.150/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates
Assistant Director (Rubber Production):
Rs.150/- for General Candidates
Rs.100/- for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates
SC/ ST Candidates of other States (Not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee.
The candidates are suggested to deposit the application fee to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission.
How Apply: Interested and eligible candidates are suggested to apply in prescribed format, two copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/-; to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date. Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.
Candidates can also send the duly completed application form in all manners along with two copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates, self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/-, self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No. and name of the post applied for, by post to The TPSC Secretariat.
