Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Recruitment – An Opportunity

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited which is popularly known as Vizag Steel is based in Vishakhapatnam and is an Indian government owned company responsible for production of steel. Due to its strong performance and financial status this company has been awarded the title of Navratna by the government. It has been named as pride of steel due to the leadership in quality and customer service provided by the company. It holds the share of about 10% in market. Vizag steel supplies steels of various grades for many essential government projects like power sectors, bridges, metro and nuclear complexes etc.

Products manufactured by Vizag are made up of virgin steel to provide durability and strong bonding. RINL is responsible for operating 3 million tonnes per annum capacity of steel plant. It has also invested Rs. 125 billion to target the production of 6.3 million tonnes of steel a year. RINL has upgraded its expansion and modernisation of blast furnaces which will eventually produce about 1 million tonne of steel per annum increasing its capacity potentially.

In order to manage such a huge industry and look into the functionality of enormous plants this organisation needs skilled workers who can easily work in the environment produce favourable results. Therefore every year Vizag issues the notification for recruitment of candidates in various posts like management trainee, manager and deputy manager for research and development professionals, junior trainees, junior nurse and operation theatre assistant etc. Many such vacancies are available in RINL to provide employment to young and experienced both candidates. For the post of management trainee (technical) there are posts divided according to the departments like metallurgy, mechanical, electrical, civil, computer science, chemical and instrumentation.

Procedure of recruitment will be held according to the performance of candidates in written test, interview and group discussion. After selection candidates will need to undergo a one year training after which they will be employed as permanent employee of RINL.
