PNB Recruitment 2014 For 82 Officers Posts In Various Capacities

Punjab National Bank (PNB) is considered to be one of the most dynamic banks amongst the leading nationalised banks in India since its inception in 1895. In order to address the changing needs of personal banking, this bank is now recruiting a huge workforce to carry out various commercial activities in the country and abroad.

To cater to the burgeoning customer base, the Punjab National Bank recruitment involves people at the probationary officers and clerical level. With the fresh notification released by the bank, there are presently 82 vacancies notified for recruitment into JMGS-I and MMGS-II cadres.

Details of Pay Scale:

  1. MMGS-II: The candidates selected for these positions will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.19400 – Rs.28100 along with other perks and remunerations.
  2. JMGS-I: The candidates selected for these positions will be eligible to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.14500 – Rs.25700 along with other perks and remunerations.

Academic Eligibility:

  • Manager (Security): The candidate must have completed Graduation along with an experience as an Officer with 5 years Commissioned Service in Indian Army / Navy / Air Force OR 5 years of service as a Police Officer not below the rank of Asst. Supdt. of Police / Dy. Supdt. of Police OR Officers of identical work in para-military forces with 5 years experience
  • Manager (Civil Engineer): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 4 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Mechanical Engineer): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 4 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Architect): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 4 years experience in concerned discipline. The candidates should be conversant with code of practice & local bye-laws and also have knowledge of Auto CAD, 3D Max. and Revit etc.
  • Manager (Financial Analysts): The candidates must have completed Bachelors Degree with a Post Graduate Programme in Banking & Finance Or, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking & Financial Services) from NIBM, Pune.
  • Manager (Industry)-Civil: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Chemical: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Electrical: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Mechanical: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Textile: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Textile Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Electronics & Telecommunication: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Manager (Industry)-Computer Science & IT: The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science & IT Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (consistently from Senior Secondary onwards) in aggregate along with minimum 2 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Officer (Civil Engineer): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 1 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Officer (Electrical Engineer): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 1 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Officer (Mechanical Engineer): The candidates must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate along with minimum 1 years experience in concerned discipline.
  • Officer (Printing Technologist): The candidates must have completed Graduation Degree along with 3 years Diploma/ Degree in Printing Technology

NOTE:

  • All Academics and experience will be reckoned as on 28-Jan-2014

Age Criteria:

  • For all posts in MMGS-II cadre (except Manager-Security): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years
  • For Manager-Security: Maximum age is 32 years
  • For all posts in JMGS-I cadre: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years
  • Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC and PWD is admissible as per rules

Selection Procedure:

  • Selection for these posts will be done through Written Test (which may be conducted online/ offline) and/ or interview
  • The question papers in Written Test will be Bi-Lingual (English/ Hindi) in nature
  • The candidates will be awarded negative marking (0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.
  • The selection will be done on a free and fare basis as per merit ranking.

Application Fees:

  • For SC, ST, PWD candidates: Rs.50
  • For UR, OBC and Ex-Servicemen: Rs.400
  • The fees can be paid through the Cash Voucher Downloaded from the website of the PNB and deposited at any branch of PNB OR, through Online mode through Net Banking/ NEFT with Credit or Debit card
  • No other mode of payment will be accepted
