- Junior Assistant Technician (Boiler)- 14 posts (SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3, UR-9) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and minimum II class Boiler Attendants (Oil/ Gas Fired) Certificate.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Production)- 6 posts (SC-1, OBC-2, UR-3) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Fitting (or) Mechanic Trades.
- Junior Assistant Rigman (Drilling) – 47 posts (SC-4, ST-4, OBC-12, UR-27) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Fitting (or) Mechanic Trades. Must have Physical Standard as specified.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Cementing)- 7 posts (OBC-1, UR-6) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Auto/ Fitting/ Mechanic Trades. Must have Should have valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
- Junior Fire Supervisor- 5 posts (OBC-3, UR-2) – Must have Intermediate with 6 months experience in fire services. Driving License for Heavy Vehicles is essential. Physical Tests Applicable.
- Junior Motor Vehicle Driver (Winch Operations) – 7 posts (OBC-1, UR-6) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent exam. Must have Driving License for Heavy Vehicle and 3 years driving Experience of heavy vehicles.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Diesel)- 3 posts (SC-1, UR-2) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Fitting)- 26 posts (SC-2, ST-3, OBC-7, UR-14) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Fitting.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Machining)- 7 posts (ST-1, OBC-2, UR-4) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Machining.
- Junior Assistant Technician (Electrical) – 7 posts (ST-1, ST-1, OBC-2, UR-3) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Science, and Trade Certificate in Electrical.
- Junior Assistant (Steno English) – 10 posts (ST-1, OBC-2, UR-7) – Must have passed Graduate with Typing speed 30 wpm and short hand at 80 wpm Certificate/ Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer Applications in the office environment.
- Junior Assistant (Materials Management) – 1 post (UR) – Must have passed B. Sc with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects with Typing speed 30 wpm with Certificate/ Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer Applications in the office environment.
- Junior Assistant (Accounts) – 8 posts (OBC-2, UR-6) – Must have passed B.Com. with Typing speed 30 wpm with Certificate/ Diploma of minimum duration of six months in Computer Applications in the office environment.
- Junior Security Supervisor – 1 post (OBC-1) – Must have passed Intermediate with 6 months training / experience in Security.
A-II Level:
a) Assistant Technician (Electrical) – 39 posts (SC-4, ST-6, OBC-12, UR-17) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering and should have Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor.
b) Assistant Technician (Mechanical) – 41 posts (SC-4, ST-4, OBC-13, UR-20) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
c) Assistant Technician (Production) – 77 posts (SC-7, ST-8, OBC-21, UR-41) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering
d) Assistant Technician (Instrumentation) – 34 posts (ST-3, OBC-13, UR-18) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
e) Technical Assistant Gd.III (Chemistry) – 14 posts (SC-1, ST-1, OBC-4, UR-8) – Must have passed Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry
f) Assistant Technician (Electronics) – 18 posts (SC-5, ST-3, UR-10) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom / E&T Engineering OR, M.Sc in Physics with Electronics
g) Assistant Technician (Boiler) – 13 posts (SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3, UR-8) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.
h) Marine Radio Assistant Gd.III – 34 posts (SC-3, ST-3, OBC-8, UR-20) – Must have passed Matriculation with second class Certificate with Proficiency/ Competency in Marine Radio Operation with Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS) certification OR, Radio Telephone Operator’s Certificate of Proficiency in Maritime Mobile Service with Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS) certification OR, Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom with Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS) certification
i) Assistant Rigman (Drilling) – 33 posts (SC-3, ST-2, OBC-8, UR-20) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineering. Must have Physical Standard as specified.
j) Assistant Grade-III (Materials Management) – 2 posts (PWD) – Must have passed 3 years Diploma in Materials Management/ Inventory/ Stock Control OR, 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management
k) Nurse Grade -III – 1 post (UR) – Must have passed Graduate in Nursing / 3 Years Diploma in Nursing.
l) Assistant Grade-III (Accounts) – 3 posts (PWD) – Must have passed PG Degree in Commerce / Graduate in Commerce with one year Diploma in Finance & Accounts/ ICWA (Inter)/ CA (Inter).
W-I Level:
a) Junior Fireman – 4 posts (OBC-1, UR-3) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with Fireman’s training of three months’ duration. Driving License for Heavy Vehicles essential.
b) Health Care Attendant Gd-I- 1 post (UR-1) – Must have passed High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with First Aid certificate from statutory body/ Institute like St. John’s Ambulance or Red Cross Society. Must have Six months experience as Technician in ECG/ CSSD/ Plaster/ Anaesthesia.
Pay Scale:
- A-I Level of Posts: Rs.11000 – Rs. 24000 (Total monthly emolument would be around Rs.27000 per month including other perks and allowances)
- A-II Level of Posts: Rs.12000 – Rs. 27000 (Total monthly emolument would be around Rs.30000 per month including other perks and allowances)
- W-I Level of Posts: Rs.10000 – Rs. 18000 (Total monthly emolument would be around Rs.24000 per month including other perks and allowances)
Criteria with respect to Age:
- All candidates should be within a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 30 years.
- The reference age will be reckoned as on 31-March-2013.
- In case of Sc, ST, PWD, Ex-SM and Departmental candidates the age relaxation will be applicable as per company norms

Selection Methodology:
- The selection will be based on i) Written Test, ii) Physical Tests (Where ever applicable) and iii) Personal Interview
- The candidates will have to qualify at each stage separately and in aggregate.
