With the recent announcement from the Netaji Subas Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur, vacancies has been notified for various positions of paramedical staff in the Medical College and Hospitals under this state cadre organization. There are vacancies notified for Staff Nurse (Only Women), Laboratory Technicians, Radiographer and Pharmacist-II posts, which are to be filled up through an open competitive examination.
The details of the recruitment procedure along with essential qualifying norms and application procedure are detailed as under:

- Date of publication of notification: 01-Sep-2014

Mode of Application: Through the prescribed format of application only
Details of the vacancies:
- Staff Nurse (Only female): 250 Posts [UR-126, SC-50, ST-60 & OBC-14]
- Laboratory Technician: 06 Posts [UR-02, SC-03, ST-01]
- Radiographer: 02 Posts [UR-01, ST-01]
- Pharmacist-II: 06 Posts [UR-03, SC-01, ST-01 & OBC-01]
Pay Scale Provisions:
- Staff Nurse (Only female): The candidates who will be selected for these positions will be offered remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2800 in the Pay Band -1.
- Laboratory Technician: The candidates who will be selected for these positions will be offered remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2800 in the Pay Band -1.
- Radiographer: The candidates who will be selected for these positions will be offered remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2800 in the Pay Band -1.
- Pharmacist-II: The candidates who will be selected for these positions will be offered remuneration in the scale of Rs.5200-Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.1900 in the Pay Band -1.
- Other allowances will be paid selected candidates as per the rules of the state.
Academics:
- Staff Nurse (Only female): The candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) with Biology as a subject. Must have completed BSc and GNT Nursing Training from a recognized institute. Must have registered with MahaKoshal Nursing Council.
- Laboratory Technician: The candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) with Biology, Chemistry & Physics as subjects. Must have completed DMLT program (2 years or 10 months) from a recognized institute. Must have registered with Paramedical Council.
- Radiographer: The candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) with Biology, Chemistry & Physics as subjects. Must have completed Radiographer program from a recognized institute of Paramedical Council of Madhya Pradesh. Must have registered with Paramedical Council.
- Pharmacist-II: The candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) with Biology, Chemistry & Physics as subjects. Must have completed Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute of Pharmacy Council of Madhya Pradesh. Must have registered with Pharmacy Council.
NOTE:
- The candidates must have an active registration of State Employment Exchange/ District Employment Exchange.
- The candidates must be a permanent native of Madhya Pradesh.
Age requirement:
- The candidate must have obtained minimum 18 years of age by 01-Sep-2014 and should not cross maximum age as determined by the state for particular category of candidates.
- There will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, Ex-Servicemen candidates
Application Fees:
- For Unreserved and General: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred only)
- For SC/ST/ OBC: Rs.250 (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only)
- The fees is to be paid through a Crossed Demand Draft made in favour of “Chief Executive Officer, Netaji Subas Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur” and should be payable at Jabalpur.
Selection Procedure:
- The selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Interview and a practical test (If desired).
- The dates of Interview will be communicated to candidates at a later stage.
- The candidates will be selected on Merit ranking only
