NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under-graduates. It is supposed to be the national level common entrance test meant for the admission in MBBS. It has been introduced top replace all the entrance exams of MBBS which are till now were organised by the different states and medical colleges. Moreover it will also replace AIPMT which is also a national entrance test for MBBS courses till now.
