With the recent notification from the State Coordinator Of National Registration (NRC), Assam, vacancies have been notified in the profiles of District Project Supervisor (DPS), Circle Project Supervisor (CPS), Junior Assistant (district level), Junior Assistant (circle level) & Junior Assistant (sub division level). Candidates need to indicate their specific choices for consideration of profiles for final selection.
The details of eligibility criteria and mode of application are described as follows:

Details of Vacancies:
- District Project Supervisor (DPS): 27 Posts
- Circle Project Supervisor (CPS): 154 Posts
- Junior Assistant (District Level): 54 Posts
- Junior Assistant (Sub Division Level): 29 Posts
- Junior Assistant (Circle Level): 308 Posts
Pay Scale:
- District Project Supervisor (DPS): The candidates selected against these posts will be eligible to receive a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.25000 per month.
- Circle Project Supervisor (CPS): The candidates selected against these posts will be eligible to receive a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.22000 per month.
- Junior Assistant (District/ Sub-Division/ Circle Level): The candidates selected against these posts will be eligible to receive a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs.12000 per month.
- No other allowances will be applicable for these posts
- For all positions the applicants shall have to travel extensively throughout the district of posting and occasionally outside the district as well.
Mode of Appointment:
- The candidates selected against these posts will be engaged in a mission mode on contractual remuneration.
- These candidates will be reporting to their concerned authorities under The State Coordinator for NRC Updation in Assam.
Education & Academics:
- District Project Supervisor (DPS): The Applicant should have completed MBA Or, Masters in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from a reputed institute with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. They must have at least 1 (one) year of work experience with any Government or reputed Private organization. Computer knowledge is essential for these posts and preference will be offered to candidates having work experience in Mission mode projects.
- Circle Project Supervisor (CPS): The Applicant should have completed Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Management from a reputed institute with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. They must have at least 1 (one) year of work experience with any Government or reputed Private organization. Computer knowledge is essential for these posts and preference will be offered to candidates having work experience in Mission mode projects.
- Junior Assistant (District/ Sub-Division/ Circle Level): The Applicant should have completed Graduation from a reputed institute. They must also have completed at least a Diploma in Computer Application/ DTP. Computer knowledge is essential for these posts and preference will be offered to candidates having work experience in Mission mode projects. Candidates completing 3 years of Diploma from a Polytechnic and having 1 year of experience will be considered for Circle level posts.
Age of the candidates:
- A candidate must not have crossed 40 years of age and should be over 18 years as on 01-Jan-2014 to be eligible to apply.
- However upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST candidates of Himachal Pradesh as per the norms of the state.
Mode of Selection:
- Depending upon the number of applicants the NRC, Assam will conduct a Written test for short-listing candidates for a personal interview.
- The Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/her performance in the Personal Interview and career assessment.
- The candidates have to produce their original documents on the day of interview.
