Applications are being invited for 61 vacant posts in the cadre of M.P. H.J.S. (District Judge-Entry Level) through Promotion from Civil Judges Senior Division from Eligible Senior Civil Judges of State of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria: Civil Judges (Senior Division), belonging to M.P. State Judicial Service having 7 years of aggregate Judicial service reckoned as on 31-05-2017, and have attained the age of 35 years and have not attained the age of 48 years as on 1st January, 2017 shall be eligible to appear in the examination.

MP Higher Judicial Service (Entry Level) Direct Recruitment Examination 2017 For 42 Posts Of District Judge: Advertisement for Madhya Pradesh Higher Judicial Service (Entry Level) through Direct Recruitment from Bar Exam-2017

A total of 42 positions of District Judge will be filled up through this recruitment notification through a competitive examination.

- District Judge (Entry level): Total 42 Posts (UR-22, OBC-06, SC-06, ST-08)
Only permanent natives of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible to get reservation and relaxation. SC, ST, OBC candidates from other state will be treated as Unreserved Category and will not be eligible for any type of relaxation.
Pay Scale and Remunerations: The candidates getting selected for the position of District Judge will be entitled to receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.51550-Rs.63070 along with other allowances and perks as defined by the MP Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Service Rules).
Criteria for Eligibility:
- Age of the candidate: An applicant must have attained a minimum age of 35 years and should not have crossed max age of 48 years as on 01-January-2017.
- Educational Qualification/ Experience: An applicant must have practiced as an Advocate in the Bar at Law for a minimum period of 7 years as on 13-April-2017.
- Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India
- Physical Fitness: The candidates should be of sound mental & physical health and should possess good character antecedents.

Examination Fee:
For Unreserved Category: Rs.1000/-
For all reserved category: Rs.800/-
This includes the Portal Charges (for all category of candidates) of Rs.600/-

Mode of Selection: The selection of candidates will be done through a systematic scrutiny through a Online Preliminary Examination, a Main Written Examination and a process of Judgement Writing and Interview.
