Office of the Additional General of Police (TRG/ AP) and Chairman Central Recruitment board, Meghalaya Police invites application from eligible male and female candidates (permanent residents of Meghalaya) for 120 posts in Armed Branch Sub-Inspector of Police (ABSI) for the Special Forces-10 (SF-10).
Candidates will be posted to any unit of Meghalaya Police anywhere in the state or outside, on completion of Basic Training.

Total Number of Vacancies: 120 (111 vacancies are for male candidates, and 9 vacancies are for female candidates.)
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 27 years as on January 01, 2014
Pay Scale: Rs. 14100-350-16550-EB-460-20690-620-27510/- + other allowances and special allowances
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized University.
Application Fee: Rs. 50/-
Candidates are suggested to obtain the application form from all the offices of District Superintendents of Police and Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh Shillong by paying Rs. 50/-.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary medical tests, Physical Efficiency Test (200 marks), Written Examination (200 marks), followed by Interview (50 Marks).
Venue of Preliminary Medical Tests, Physical Efficiency Test: 2nd Battalion, MLP Goeragre, and at 1st Battalion, MLP Mawiong.
Venue of Written Test: will be intimated later
Venue of Interview: PTS, Golf Links, Shillong

Eligible candidates may send duly completed application form in prescribed format in all manners along with attested copies of all requested documents/ certificates, and four recent passport size photographs, to the concerned office as suggested in official advertisement.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Temporary admit cards having names of candidates, post applied for and dates and venue of recruitment will be issued to applicants at the time of submission of the application forms. Final admit cards will be issued in later days.
