Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, invites applications from eligible candidates for the selection of Trade Apprentices FOR THE YEAR 2021, under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for various trades as Electrician, Fitter, Pipe fitter, Structural fitter, Marine Painter, Electronic Mechanic, Carpenter, Fitter Structural, Rigger, and Welder. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination.

Structural fitter- 63 Positions
Group “B” (I.T.I Passed) – Duration of Training: Two Year [One year in case of Marine Painter, and Electronic Mechanic Trade]
Welder- 15 Positions
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant- 15 Positions
Carpenter- 21 Positions
Fitter Structural- 20 Positions
Pipe fitter- 15 Positions
Electrician- 15 Positions
Group ‘C’ (8th Class Passed) – Duration of Training: Two Year
Rigger- 47 Positions
Welder (Gas & Electric)- 26 Positions
Age Limit As on 01-August-2021:
Minimum 15 years and Maximum 19 years for Group “A” (10th Class Passed)
Minimum 16 years and Maximum 21 years for Group “B” (I.T.I Passed)
Minimum 14 years and Maximum 18 years for Group ‘C’ (8th Class Passed)
However, upper age limit relaxation will be given by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for DIVYANG as per Govt. Rules.
Application Fees: Rs. 100/- + Bank Charges
The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
Candidates are suggested to pay the application fee in form of challan, deposited in any branch of state bank of India. However candidates belonging to SC, ST & Divyang Category category are exempted from paying the Application Fees.
