Karnataka Judicial Services Recruitment – High Court of Karnataka invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of District Judges. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

District Judges – 50 Positions
Educational Qualification Criteria: Candidates must be holder of a Degree in Law granted by a university established by Law in India, and must have practicing as an Advocate for a period not less than seven years; in the High Court or in a Subordinate Court as on the last date for receipt of applications.
Age Limit As on 15-May-2015: Candidates should not have exceeded 48 years of age in case of SC/ ST category candidates, and 45 years of age in case general merit, and all other category candidates. There is three years of relaxation in upper age limit for ex-serviceman.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be eligible to get the pay scale Rs. 51550-63070/-
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination of two papers each of three hours duration with 150 maximum marks for each paper–One in Civil law and another in Criminal law; and viva-voice of 100 marks.
Preliminary Exam Fee:
- SC/ ST/ category- I candidates: Rs.750/-
- For general merit, and all other category candidates: Rs.1000/-
Candidates can make the payment in form of SBI challan generated online in any branch of State Bank of India.
