With its recent initiative for induction of Experienced Non-Executive Personnel in the pay band of Rs.11900 – Rs.32000 for the year 2014 at its Panipat Refinery Complex. Stipend and Remuneration:
- The Successful candidates are eligible for remuneration in the scale of pay band of Rs.11900 – Rs.32000 as per the rules of IOCL. There will be other allowances and perks as per rules.
Educational Eligibility & Experience:
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Fire & Safety): The candidates should have completed Matriculation with Sub-Officers’ Course from NFSC (National Fire Safety College), Nagpur. They must have a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License. They must have Minimum one year experience of working in Fire & Safety set-up.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Instrumentation): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/ Instrumentation Control along with Minimum one year experience in Maintenance of modern instrumentation control systems.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities – O&M): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering along with Minimum one year experience in Maintenance of modern electrical systems.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities – B&A): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2nd class Boiler Competency Certificate, OR B.Sc.(PCM). Minimum experience requirement is 1 year for Diploma Holders in operation/ maintenance of Industrial Boiler/Heat Recovery Steam Generator in Petroleum Refinery/Petrochemical industry and that for BSc (PCM) Degree holders will be minimum three years Apprenticeship training in Boiler Attendant Trade.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Power & Utilities): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum one year experience of working in DM plant, Industrial Air Compressor, Steam Turbine, etc.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Mechanical – Fitter-cum-Rigger): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, OR, should have completed Matriculation with ITI in Fitter Trade. Minimum one year experience for Diploma holders and two years experience for candidates with ITI qualification in relevant discipline.
- Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Production): The candidates should have completed 3 years Diploma in Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering or BSc with PCM or PM and Industrial chemistry. Must have Minimum One year experience in operation of Pump House, Fired Heater, etc.
- Code No.124 – Junior Quality Control Analyst: The candidates should have completed B.Sc. with Chemistry or MSc with Chemistry and must have Minimum one year experience in handling state of the art instruments.
- NOTE:
- For Post Code 118, 119 & 120 the candidates should have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate for Gen, OBC, SC & ST Category.
- For Post Code 121, 123, 125 & 126 the candidates should have secured minimum 60% in aggregate for Gen/OBC/ST category and 55% marks in aggregate for SC category.
- For post code 124, 126 the candidates should have secured minimum 60% in aggregate B.Sc.(Chemistry) for General/OBC/ST category and 55% marks for SC/PWD candidates or M.Sc.(Chemistry) with 55% marks in aggregate for Gen/OBC/ST, 50% marks for SC/PWD candidates.
Age Conditions:
- The candidates should not have exceeded 26 years of maximum age and should be over 18 years of minimum age to be eligible to apply.
Selection Methodology:
- The selection methodology will comprise of Written Test, Trade Test (Whereever applicable) and Personal Interview of short listed candidates.
- The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness successfully for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
- The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates/ testimonials, experience etc.

- For General and OBC candidates: Rs.100
- For SC/ST/PWD candidates: No application fee
- The application fee can be remitted in shape of a Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD., payable at SBI Baholi, Panipat (Brach Code-8706).
- No other mode of payment is acceptable.

- The candidates are advised to read through the detailed notification as available at //www.iocl.com/download/Advertisement-Panipat_Refinery_2014.pdf, before applying for these posts.
- After successfully applying/registering on-line applications, the candidate must take a print out of the filled in on-line application form, affix a recent passport size photograph, sign at the specified place and produce the same at the time of written test/trade test/interview.
- The candidates have to fill the correct details and upload the documents as required in the Online Application.
- The hard copy of the application along with original Demand Draft and other certificates must be produced before the authority during Written Test and Trade Test wherever applicable.
