Indian Army invites application from eligible male candidates for recruitment of Havildar Education in Science and Arts Streams in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army.
Selection will be made on the basis of Screening, Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination of two hours duration, and Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview.
Screening of the candidates will be carried out by all the Headquarters Recruiting Zones. Candidates must obtain details from the concerned Headquarter Recruiting Zone of which the individual is a permanent native/ resident.
Written examination will be conducted at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 29-October-2017
Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh.
Selected candidates will undergo Military and Technical Training for a period of one year at AEC Training College & Centre, Pachmarhi (Madhya Pradesh).

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed Graduation from a recognized university in any of the following subjects at PG/ Graduation level:-
Science Stream: B.Sc./ B.Sc. (IT)/ BCA/ BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc./ M.Sc. (IT)/ MCA/ M.Tech (with or without B.Ed.) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics or Computer Science.
Arts stream: BA/ MA (with or without B Ed) with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics or Sociology.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 25 years for civilian candidates, and up to 28 years for remustered candidates as on 01 Oct 2017.
Pay & Allowances (On completion of successful training):
Group ‘X’ (PG/Bachelor Degree with B.Ed): Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay (Rs 2800) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000) + Group ‘X’ Pay (Rs 1400) per month.
Group ‘Y’ (Bachelor Degree without B.Ed): Rs. 5200-20200) + Grade Pay (Rs 2800) + Military Service Pay (2000) per month.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are suggested to register online from 01 May 2017 at 1000 hrs to 30 May 2017 at 1700 hrs. at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
After submitting the application, applicants are suggested to take two copies of the printout and the Roll Number generated by the system. Rally schedules (Preliminary screening) will be notified.
Candidates are also suggested to print one copy of Admit Card on good quality paper in black and white laser printer with 600 x 600 or higher resolution and affix your recent passport size photo on it. Please carry Admit Card along with requested documents on scheduled date you have been called for screening/ physical tests.
