Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment of 131 Junior Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Junior Technician, Junior Technical Superintendent, Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Physical Training Instructor and Assistant Registrar Positions on regular basis.
Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one year.
Junior Technician: 100 Vacancies; Pay Level- 3
Junior Engineer (JE): 10 Vacancies; Pay Level- 6
Junior Technical Superintendent: 04 Vacancies; Pay Level- 6
Assistant Executive Engineer: 04 Vacancies; Pay Level- 10
Assistant Registrar (Library): 01 Vacancy; Pay Level- 10
Assistant Registrar: 03 Vacancies; Pay Level- 10
Medical Officer: 03 Vacancies; Pay Level- 10
Physical Training Instructor: 02 Vacancies; Pay Level- 6

Pay Scale: Candidates selected for Junior Assistant Position in IIT Kanpur, will get the scale of pay Rs. 21700-69100/- Pay Level -3

Eligibility Criteria:-
Qualification– Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidates should have knowledge of computer applications.
Candidates possess Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks and having 2 years of relevant experience in handling Establishment matters/ R&D/ Legal/ Purchase and Import/ Accounts/ Audit/Hospitality, etc will be preferred.
Age Limit– Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on 09-11-2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government orders.
Application Fee: Rs. 700/- SC/ ST/PwD and Female candidates are not required to pay the application fees.

Job Profile- Secretarial practices with computer applications. Diary & dispatch work of incoming and outgoing mail. To handle the estate management/ purchase & import/ accounts & audit/ hospitality/ academic/ recruitment/ legal, R&D and establishment matters etc.
