Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) serving as an important nodal agency for the state of Haryana extending its support in the process of selection and recruitment of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ cadre positions under various departments of the state. As a government functionary, this PSC is serving dedicatedly for competent selection of workforce in the higher cadre positions of the government. With the recent announcement, the Haryana Public Service Commission has notified for recruitment of various positions under Class-I & Class-II gazetted service through a competitive selection examination.

Scale of Pay:
- Medical Officer HCMS (Class-II): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 + NPA
- Project Officer (Class-II in Renewable Energy Dept): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600 along with other applicable allowances.
- Horticulture Development Officer (Class-II): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.3600 along with other applicable allowances.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Explosive): The candidates selected for these positions will receive remuneration in the Scale of PB-II at the rate of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 along with other applicable allowances.

NOTE: Other allowances and perks will be applicable for these selected candidates as per the state government norms.
Essential Educational Qualification:
- Medical Officer HCMS (Class-II): The candidates should have completed Graduate Degree in Medicine & Surgery or equivalent and should have been registered with the Haryana/ Punjab Medical Council or any other Medical Council recognized by the Medical Council of India. He should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard. Preference will be offered to candidates having Post Graduate qualifications and experience in rural areas.
- Project Officer (Class-II in Renewable Energy Dept): The candidates should have completed Masters Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Operational Research with at least 60% marks or Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/ Chemical/ Computer/ Agricultural Engineering with at least 60% marks. The candidates must have 2 (Two) years experience in Planning, Development and implementation of renewable energy programmes related to Rural Sector Development. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Horticulture Development Officer (Class-II): The candidates should have completed Degree in B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.) with Horticulture as one of the subjects or B.Sc. in Horticulture. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Explosive): The candidates should have completed M.Sc. (at least 1st Division) in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Forensic Science with specialization in Chemistry. Must have at least 3 years research and analytical experience in any of the above subjects. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Cyber Forensic): The candidates should have completed M.Sc. Computer Science/ Master in Computer Application (MCA) with 1st Division Or, Bachelor in Engineering (Computer Science) with 1st Division. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Cyber Forensic in a recognized institute. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Assistant Director (Cyber Forensic): The candidates should have completed M.Sc. Computer Science/ Master in Computer Application (MCA) with 1st Division Or, Bachelor in Engineering (Computer Science) with 1st Division. Must have at least 8 years of experience in Cyber Forensic in a recognized institute. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Senior Medical Officer HCMS (Class-I): The candidates should have completed Post graduate qualifications of M.D Degree or M.S degree. He/She should have been registered as Medical Practitioner with the Haryana State Medical Council or any other Medical Council recognized by the Medical Council of India. He/ She should have 5 years standing in Medical Profession and Hospital experience after acquiring the requisite qualifications or 10 years experience as Medical Officer under any State or Central Government passing MBBS out of which at least 2 years experience should be after acquiring the required post graduate qualifications. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
- Veterinary Surgeon (HVS-II): The candidates should have completed Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) and should have registered as Veterinary Practitioner with Haryana Veterinary Council or with any Veterinary Council in India or Indian Veterinary Council. He/ She should have knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matriculation standard.
Essential Age Requirement:
- Medical Officer HCMS (Class-II): The candidate should not be less than 22 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Oct-2013.
- Project Officer (Class-II in Renewable Energy Dept): The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Apr-2014.
- Horticulture Development Officer (Class-II): The candidate should not be less than 17 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 27-May-2014.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Explosive): The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not have obtained more than 45 years age as on 01-Feb-2014.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Cyber Forensic): The candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not have obtained more than 45 years age as on 01-Feb-2014.
- Assistant Director (Cyber Forensic): The candidate should not be less than 21 years and should not have obtained more than 45 years age as on 01-Feb-2014.
- Senior Medical Officer HCMS (Class-I): The candidate should not be less than 32 years and should not have obtained more than 45 years age as on 01-Jan-2014.
- Veterinary Surgeon (HVS-II): The candidate should not be less than 22 years and should not have obtained more than 40 years age as on 01-Jul-2013.
- However, relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable for reserved category of candidates as per the state government norms.

Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be done by through the Written Exam followed by a Personal Interview as per the discretion of the HPSC.
- Candidates who qualify on a merit ranking will be allowed to join respective services as per the Departments.
