Pay Scale:
- Medical Officer (Dental) (On contract basis): The applicants selected for these posts will received a consolidated remuneration in the scale of Rs.26250 per month.
- Principal (On contract basis) for College of Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals Sciences, Jogindernagar: The applicants selected for these posts will received a consolidated remuneration in the scale of Rs.23400 per month.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) (On contract basis) under Department of Irrigation & Public Health: The applicants selected for these posts will received a consolidated remuneration in the scale of Rs.21000 per month.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) (On contract basis) under Department of Public Works: The applicants selected for these posts will receive a scale of Rs.15600 – Rs.39100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.5400 per month.
- Assistant Professor (Pharmacology): The applicants selected for these posts will receive a scale of Rs.37400 – Rs.67000 along with a Grade Pay of Rs.8900 per month.

Age:
- The applicants should be above 18 years and should not be above 45 years to be eligible to apply.
- However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit as per rules only for the candidates from Himachal Pradesh.
Education:
- Medical Officer (Dental): The applicants should have Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree and should have been registered with State Dental Council. Post-Graduate Degree with knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Principal College of Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals Sciences: The applicants should have Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda Sciences with at least 15 years of teaching experience. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Department of Irrigation & Public Health: The applicants should have Degree in Civil Engineering. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Department of Public Works: The applicants should have Degree in Civil Engineering. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Assistant Professor (Pharmacology): The applicants should have qualified as a M.D. (Pharmacology)/ MBBS with Ph.D. (Medical Pharmacology)/ M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology) with Ph.D. (Medical Pharmacology)/ M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology) with D.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology). The applicants should have at least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post-graduation. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state and research publication in index journals is desirable.
- Assistant Professor (Nephrology): The applicants should have qualified D.M. Nephrology 2/3 years course as recognized by the M.C.I. after M.D. Medicine, or MBBS and 5 years direct course leading to D.M. Nephrology. The applicants should have at least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post-graduation. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state and research publication in index journals is desirable.
- Assistant Geologist: The applicants should have M.Sc. degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad along with at least 2 years of practical experience. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Mining Officer: The applicants should have M.Sc. Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology or Applied Geology OR, B.E. (Mining Engineering) OR Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad along with at least 3 years of practical experience. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
- Professor, B. Pharmacy (On contract basis): The applicants must have attained Ph.D Degree (with first class Degree either at Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy with 10 years experience in Teaching / Industry / research out of which 05 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. Knowledge of customs and manners of the state is desirable.
Application Fee:
- Examination fee for General category (including General category PWD candidates such as Orthopedically Handicapped and Hearing impaired) and other state candidates: Rs.400
- For SC/ST/OBC candidates from Himachal Pradesh: Rs.100
- No fee is required for the Ex-Servicemen category or Visually handicapped category of candidates from Himachal Pradesh
Mode of Payment:
- The candidates can deposit the requisite fee at any branch of Punjab National Bank through an e-Challan generated through the website of the Commission, i.e. www.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
- The fee can also be remitted online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
Mode of Selection:
- Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/her performance in the Screening Test, Written Examination, and Viva-voice on merit basis
- The candidates have to produce their original documents on the day of interview.
