The Directorate of Employment, Government of Haryana is the nodal entity entrusted by the state government for registration of educated mass, and provides them opportunities for employment through different Employment Exchanges of the state. At present, 56 Employment Exchanges are functioning in the State, out of which there is 1 State Employment Exchange Haryana at Panchkula, 4 Divisional Employment Exchanges, 17 District Employment Exchanges, 31 Sub Divisional Employment Exchanges and 3 University Employment Information and Guidance Bureaux. 2 Cells are also functioning at State Employment Exchange Panchkula, 1 Scheduled Caste (SC) Cell &1 Physically Handicapped (PH) Cell.
The Employment Exchanges under the Directorate of Employment perform mainly three types of functions viz. Registration of applicants and their placement, providing vocational guidance to job seekers and collect employment market information data from establishments in the organized sector. The Employment Exchanges are rendering free services to employers as well as to job seekers.
With the recent announcement, the Directorate of Employment, Haryana has notified for recruitment of various Group-IV posts under the state government.

Important Dates:

Details of Vacancies:
Group. 1: 10144 posts of Class-IV Employees (Reservation will be applicable as per rules as UR-3009, SC-1587, BC-A-1129, BC-B-707, SBC-959, EBC-UR-1007, Ex-SM-UR-685, Ex-SM-SC-172, Ex-SM-BC-A-188, Ex-SM-BC-B-216 and others)
- Pay band:
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs.4440-Rs.7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1300 and other allowances as applicable.
- Qualification: Must have passed 8th standard with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
- Age Specification: The applicant must be within 16-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit
Group. 2: 1478 posts of Groundsman/ Helper (Reservation will be applicable as per rules as UR-341, SC-250, BC-A-197, BC-B-112, SBC-148, EBC-UR-133, Ex-SM-UR-104, Ex-SM-SC-30, Ex-SM-BC-A-30, Ex-SM-BC-B-44 and others)
- Pay band:
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs.4440-Rs.7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1300 and other allowances as applicable.
- Qualification: Must have passed 8th standard with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit. The applicants must have 2 years of similar experience in a Government/ Private organization.
- Age Specification: The applicant must be within 16-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit
Group. 3: 323 posts of Sevadar/ Sweeper/ Chowkidar/ Sevadar-cum-Sweeper etc. (Reservation will be applicable as per rules as UR-70, SC-52, BC-A-41, BC-B-18, SBC-32, EBC-UR-31, Ex-SM-UR-304, Ex-SM-SC-07, Ex-SM-BC-A-09, Ex-SM-BC-B-09 and others)
- Pay band:
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs.4440-Rs.7440 with Grade Pay of Rs.1300 and other allowances as applicable. These applicants will get Rs.30 as additional allowances.
- Qualification: Must have passed 8th standard with adequate knowledge of Hindi/ Sanskrit.
- Age Specification: The applicant must be within 16-40 years as on the last date of submission of Application. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit
NOTE:

- For the posts of Sevadar/ Chowkidar/ PR-Chowkidar/ Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar related posts, the applicants should know riding bicycle.
Application fees:
- The General category: Rs.50 (Rs.25 for females of Haryana only)
- All other categories (SC/BC/SBC/EBPG): Rs.15 (Rs.7.50 for females of Haryana only)
- There will be concession of 50% of fees for females of Haryana State only.
- The PWD and Ex-SM candidates who belong to Haryana State are exempted from fee payment
- The fee can be deposited through online generated Fee challan in any branch of State Bank of Patiala within the date as mentioned in Fee Challan in the head of accounts 0230 Labour & Employment-800-Other receipts-(98) Employment
- No other form of fee payment will be accepted for these posts.
- The fee can be deposited within 48 hours of Online Application submission or by 06-Apr-2014, whichever is earlier.
Selection Procedure:
- Selection will be done by through the Written Exam followed by a Personal Interview as per the discretion of the Directorate of Employment, Haryana.
